Scissortail is the first physical release by multi-instrumentalist and composer James McAlister for 37d03d. McAllister’s music is serene and pastoral, heavily influenced by the ECM classics — the cover art follows suit.

The packaging includes CD and LP versions — the vinyl release in a single sleeve and the compact disc in a gatefold wallet. Both versions have a clear marketing sticker and matte UV coating.
